Of all of the urgent cares in the area, this one has a whole different vibe that is not for everyone. They will get you in and out in less than 20 minutes. During that 20 minutes, you will feel uneasy, whether from the missing lights in the ceiling, the dim lighting in general, or maybe the weird feeling you get in the exam room when you see the sink and cabinets that are at home depot. Something about this place does not give me the feeling of clean, happy, and healthy. The staff was amazing and very nice, but I dont think that this is a place for me until some TLC and renovations happen.
My daughter in law was suffering from a fever, earache, and swollen throat. She went to UNI urgent care on Robinwood Dr. and received the ABSOLUTE WORST TREATMENT EVER! The staff was rude, and unhelpful. She was misdiagnosed, and advised that there was nothing wrong with her. They sent her home with a prescription for amoxicillin for a “virus “. They never even took her temperature!!!! She actually had a very severe ear infection. How can the staff be so unprofessional, lack empathy, and also lack the knowledge to diagnose an ear infection properly???? If you are in need of urgent care, I suggest you urgently go elsewhere!
This place was awesome. My son had sliced his the top of his thumb open and we made it through the doors about 10 minutes before closing. He was really anxious about this cut because it was gushing blood out before we wrapped it with thick paper towels. When we got to the window, the front staff was just horrible (so these 5 stars are not for them) but, when the Doctor came out she was just soo amazing! She tried to help my son calm down, she was empathetic, very patient and knowledgable while assisting us. I just wish I got her name.... its hard to find a good Doctor, especially at Urgent Care. But, i really appreciated the experience.
The staff was very nice and polite with the exception with the nurse, I came here with a sinus infections but the nurse… wow she’s very condescending not believing what I’m saying not listening to anything I said and disagreeing with my Texas doctors. I have proof of it of anything I said and she dismissed it.
I came in because I am extremely sick coughing up blood and in pain. Checked in and took me an hour to be pulled back just for vital and had to wait again, mind you there’s only me and one other person in the lobby. Came back to get a test done, nurse said I’d be seen in 15 minutes and I have been sitting here for an hour unseen. I am about to just walk out without any treatment because this is ridiculous. They tell you one thing and have you wait around all day long. It is highly unorganized and unprofessional. They close in 20 minutes, I’ve been here for three hours and got nothing out of them.
Lady in the front office didn’t get her name because I was so mad.lady with braids African American I was turned away when having breathing problems. I’ve been to this place before and never had an issue this lady’s attitude is awful. It’s been awful in past experiences I have had nothing to complain about except her. Hope something changes. You’ll know who I’m talking about just walk in it’s the one who looks like she’ll rip your head off for just walking up to the counter. And I guess now you have to worry about if she wants to deal with you aswell. Hopefully this attitude is checked I won’t be back to make sure. Not that it hurt her feelings or the company’s. 5:30 march 16 2024.
Very good doctors and nurses. The wait time was a little long but was probably because it’s a Sunday afternoon. The nurse was understanding and knowledgeable. Doctor was nice and knew what he was doing and got in and out of there quickly
A bit busy but they get you through quickly even as a new patient. Everyone was very friendly and I felt like my needs were being met and heard.
One of the best experiences I’ve had at an urgent care in a long time (first time at this location). Front desk staff, nurse, and doctor were all very friendly and nice! Was in and out within a half hour with all my questions and concerns answered. Will definitely be going back here again if I ever have a problem!
Lamont was an excellent provider. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and demonstrated an exceptional level of care and genuine concern with my illness. I have used UNI in Frederick and various Hagerstown locations in the past and I never had such a positive experience than I did at this location. Thank you so much for all the help!! God bless!
Went in for a minor medical issue. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Staff was friendly and Dr. Lamont was great.
Doctor had great bed side manners the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful and the intake nurse was very personable I will definitely return here when in need great place all around
Would never go back and see this doctor. My husband had already been tested was flu postive few days earlier. And I brought my kids to be check because they were complaining of ear pain . And still had high fever. This doctor never even checked my 5 year old I had to ask him to listen to his lungs. Basically said that we have the flu and shouldnt be out or there . We wete wasting his time! . So no ear checks throat check listen nothing. Got told that he could prescribe prednisone but she doesnt need it. No discharge papers for 4 people or anything. No meds .
Best & fastest experience Ive ever had at an urgent care. I was in and out within a 1/2 hour and the entire staff was friendly & helpful. After seeing my primary doc who did little for my symptoms, UNI found that I had an ear infection & prescribed me antibiotics. I wish I could use this facility as my PCP.Professional & thorough!
Last week (late August 2023) I visited late one afternoon when my doctor didn’t have any openings- for an eye irritation and persistent cough and extreme fatigue following COVID. I was given an antibiotic ointment script for my eye and dismissed on my other symptoms- the doctor casually said “it’s what you can expect after a virus”. I got home and found that she had prescribed me an ointment I was allergic to despite it being listed as an allergy in my chart. I worsened in my cough and fatigue overnight and ended up with my PCP the next day who ended up running a barrage of tests and putting me on steroids and antibiotics. The UNI visit was a waste of an hour and $50 copay, and would have been ultimately harmful to my well being had I listened to the doctor. I would have not gotten care for my post COVID complications and thank goodness I caught her prescribing error. Needless to say I will not be back and I do not recommend.
My sweet girl was feeling under the weather and her current pediatrician retired and we are awaiting our first appointment at her new doctor. We came here and everyone was professional, friendly, kind, and patient. The doctor that came in took special care to play with her and make her feel as comfortable as possible and was extremely informative to Dad and I. If we’re ever in a bind again I would not hesitate to come back here with any of our children.
Everyone was wonderful! Check in was fast, they were very good about recognizing my issue. There was very little wait time. I had to get stitches, and they put me at ease with the whole process. The doctor was fast, and funny, and made sure I was comfortable. Instructions were very clear. I will definitely go to UNI Urgent Care next time I need to (hopefully not often!).
David Roelkey, MD is the BEST. He is so personable. He listens to you and will answer any questions you may have. His compassion for those he treats is rare. U.N.I. is my go to health care provider.
ANOTHER great experience at U.N.I. Robinwood urgent care! FAST service and relaxed, courteous, caring, personable staff. They have taken excellent care of me several times now. I wish they could be my primary care provider. I hate going to the doctor, but I love this place when its necessary!
The doc and nurse were absolutely wonderful and quick. the only reason i couldn’t give those last stars was bc the receptionist was terrible. i had got into a car accident and was feeling uneasy and having a hard time getting cognitive. The receptionist barely acknowledged me in fact acted like i wasn’t there and typed away on her computer. i was asking questions about signing in and also told her i had been in an accident. She didn’t seem to care even though the signs say to alert the receptionist if you been in an accident. when i get called up she gives me paperwork and tells me wrong info with no explanation. If it wasn’t for nurse checking over my info i would’ve been stuck with a bill. i had to go back to the waiting room to redo my info. and the receptionist tried to blame me (while raising her tone) for having wrong info on the paper in front of nurse. i just stood there because i was in no position to argue with this woman due to my head throbbing from the whiplash i endured and the nurse basically said “well she knows now” in other words calm down. When you work at a medical facility compassion and professionalism is top priority. doc & nurse i had were wonderful. and made up for my experience. definitely recommend.
Fantastic first time experience, getting a DOT Physical done. Friendly staff, clean facility, reasonable prices and quick service. I was in and out within an hour. I will return in two years for my next one.
There was very little wait time. The staff was friendly and efficient. The doctors were efficient in diagnosing and treating my sinus and ear infections. I did require 2 visits because the first treatment wasnt quite enough. But I was pleased with the 2nd visit targeting on multiple fronts. Paying emergency room co-pays for a sinus infection is not pleasant. However, waiting 4 days to get in with my primary care doctor or the minute clinic was not an option so I was glad to find this option. If the cost was cheaper, I would have given 5 stars.
I wish I could leave a zero on this place. The doctor/physician put his finger in my 2 year olds mouth without a glove on or washing his hands prior. The wait time was crazy especially for it being as small as it is & the waiting room/back offices were filthy there was random hair on the examination bed & random trash underneath it. The room my family was in had blindes over the windows but people could still easily see inside if they wanted too. I’ve never left a review on a place before, so that just goes to show how bad my experience was for this to be the first and probably/hopefully the last place I’ll review.
I am from Amarillo Texas but I am in the area getting surgery because I need to be around my family for recovery. I had to check in to do lab work and I met a very wonderful receptionist who made my day brighter. A very big and nice facility with a wonderful staff willing to help me out and answer any questions I had. The procedure was quick and easy with little wait time. I gave four stars out of five because we do not live in a perfect world theres always room for improvement. But I am glad that Im getting my surgery at this location so far everyone involved has been very professional and made me feel comfortable about everything Ive done so far.
I now live in Ohio but when I lived here I always came here. Recently while visiting I cut my finger really bad, I knew it needed stitches I came to U.N.I and even tho I didnt have insurance they were so kind and helpful. The doctor was the most amazing lady and Ive never been so happy getting stitches in my hand. If there were 10 stars Id give them to her, only sorry I cannot remember her name
Do not recommend. Scheduled an appointment online to save time. Arrived 20 mins early as instructed. Signed in and then waited the same amount of time as if Id just walked in. Receptionist took one person at a time from the sign in and would not or could not move on to the next person until each person filled out all of the paperwork that I completed online, entered all the persons information in that I entered online and then called the person back up to make payment. This was done for every walk in ahead of me. As I waited for this incredibly inefficient process to take place and my appointment time came and went, I received a text message warning me that I had not checked in and my appointment time could be given away!!! This wouldve been laughable if I wasnt in so much pain.Aside from that the receptionist was pleasant, which could not be said for any other individual in the practice. As I waited, I asked to use the restroom. They allowed me back and the bathroom was occupied. When the occupant was finished I entered and encountered an open cup of urine sitting on a table. When I finished and opened the door, I encountered an angry looking nurse who said nothing and shoved past me to get to the urine. Seriously you cant invest in a wall box to place the urine in to prevent contamination or at least wait outside for your patient to finish? Instead I catch her attitude for her failure to collect her patients specimen timely. When I was brought back to a room, it was dark with a table and there was a roll of paper on the side of the table, no paper on the table and the nurse was clearly not concerned with rolling it out. At this point not feeling too comfortable with the cleanliness or lack there of, which was ironic considering the doctor walked in covered head to toe ensuring no bodily surface was exposed to a patient including not one but two masks. She might as well have put on a fully enclosed hazemat suit. It wouldve looked less ridiculous. The doctor stood just inside the door at least 10 feet away the entire visit only approaching me for less than 10 seconds to examine me with one covered finger. Its disheartening to think of all the real medical professionals who lost their jobs for refusing to take the jab while these incompetent fools are still employed. Find a new profession if youre that terrified to approach a patient!!!
Normally have a good experience but today my son is burning up and the nurse who took his temp refused to re take his temperature even tho he was burning up and told me on top of the hour and 30 min wait I had I would be waiting another hour or so which wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t refuse to RETAKE my son’s temperature. I left immediately and took my son home and re took my temperature myself which was 100.3 and rising ..if she retook his temp like I asked she would of seen he clearly had a fever which matched his burning hot skin.If you’re gonna be a nurse for the money find a new profession .
I had the best experience.. Although I was very sick not COVID related, staff was perfect and very quick to respond. The wait didnt seem long at all even though the waiting area was full. From my first encounter with the receptionist, to the nurse, and then doctor it was smooth sailing, in and out. U.N.I sent the scripts exactly as the should have. However I had to return to the U.N.I. as the local pharmacy wasnt very helpful. But they took care of what I needed immediately! Great staff and I would highly recommend to others.
Showed up to the office at 8 a.m. which is the listed opening time through Google but office actually didnt open till 8:30. I was the first car in the parking lot but of course a ton of people from all directions ran frantically to the front door before I could get there which led to a two-hour wait for me.Thoroughly annoyed by this and the rudeness from one of the front desk staff but my experience with Dr Dan more than made up for it. This was my second time seeing him and hes by far my favorite doctor there. He took the time to listen to my concerns and properly treat me. He is definitely an asset to the team and is what will make me return as a patient.
We love coming here!! Friendly nurses, doctors, and Cody was doing an awesome job when we went last time. Super friendly, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. I have three boys so we usually come here since we have minimal wait times and everyone is fantastic with their customer service! Keep it up guys.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The Dr told us she was calling my son in a prescription and then canceled it after we left. When I called back to find out why it never reached the pharmacy, all they could tell was the Dr canceled it and she was not in that day so no one could answer my questions. I asked for someone to call me back to explain what happened but its been over a week and I still have not heard from anyone. I will never go here again! No one seemed to care that I was not satisfied with the way our visit was mishandled.
Arrived at 7:56 pm to get treatment for my daughters worsening poison ivy that she literally had head to toe and possibly treatment for my son as well who was stung by a bee whose hand swelled up so bad it looked like he had a boxers glove on. I could tell the secretary was already checked out for the day, even though they don’t close until 8:30 pm. She advised us that a mask was required but unfortunately we did not have any on us. I asked if they could give us one and at this point another staff member, possibly a nurse comes around the corner with her bad attitude and tells me they don’t have anymore. I too work in healthcare and know that if you require a mask you must be able to provide them to enforce this policy. I reminded this staff member of this and she stated “well we’re not associated with anyone else so we don’t have to supply masks”. Then the Physician Assistant came around the corner, all still behind their glass window, and wanted to know what we were even there for. I explained the situation again and he said he wouldn’t even treat my sons bee sting since it was getting better?? Who said it was getting better? I was there because it was worse then the day before so I don’t know where he was getting his facts from other than the staff that CLEARLY didn’t want to treat anyone else that day. Then for my daughter he said all he could do is prescribe a steroid taper but there’s no pharmacy open so he didn’t think it was worth the time to see her since we couldn’t get it filled until the next day. I advised him that a pharmacy near my home was still open and would appreciate if that’s the least he could do then we would take it because it’s better than nothing. Luckily we did find a mask in our car so that these rude and unprofessional people would see us. I’ve never had such a bad experience like this at any other healthcare facility and will never go to this one again or any UNI Care. It should be called WE DON’T Care.
Dan Lamont and the staff were excellent. I had been misdiagnosed during several visits to Wellspan Waynesboro. Went to UNI, had very little wait, was promptly seen by staff, was correctly diagnosed and given the proper Rx, fever broke within 24 hours and was finally on the mend after being ill for more than a week. X-ray tech was excellent, made me feel comfortable and confident. Everyone there listened to what I had to say. Dan was thorough with his examination and prescribed exactly what I needed to quickly get better. Went back a week later for a follow-up and to thank the staff.
I took my infant daughter there to be seen. We waited an hour to be taken back after they took people back before us that came in after us. As soon as we get back they tell us that they can’t do anything for her and I should go to the ER. Turns out she had an ear infection which I feel they could have treated. They did not even examine her before telling us they couldn’t helpher and would not refund the copay. Attending was also very rude and cared more about checking boxes than care of patients.
Dr. O was great! I came in with my wife and son and he saw us all. I had Bronchitis and my wife and son had sinus infections. He also checked my son for Scarlet Fever due to a rash on both sides of his face as well as his sore throat and other symptoms. I dont think another doctor would have even thought of that! Thankfully, my son was negative, but to have a doctor that has seen more than just test cases in school was really nice! We appreciated the time and effort Dr. O showed us.The waiting room was clean and nice, the staff, including the nurses, were all very nice and very helpful. To top it off, they had little dumdum suckers for my kids!Overall, this was a great experience! Considering that over half my family was sick and I was in a bad mood, and a sour look or response from the staff probably would have altered my view considerably. But no such occasion arrived.
The atmosphere is very professional yet very friendly. You can be confidant that your visit will be a pleasant one and your medical issue will be taken care of. I would like to thank Jessica Lloyd for her great care and professional knowledge she has in her field. And thanks to all the staff for their part in making my visit a wonderful experience.
I was happy with the receptionist and the intake nurse, but I was not happy with the doctor. He didnt explain things very well, and my discharge instructions were very lacking. I didnt even receive all of my medical visit documents. They were also out of an injection that would have helped me right away, instead I had to get the oral medication that took a bit longer to take care of my issue.
My child was getting a sports physical for school. We didnt have the correct form with us. They went onto the school website and found the form and printed it there in the office so we didnt have to run back home for it. Then my child lost the form! I was able to go back and pick up a copy, no extra charge. The visit was relatively quick. Clearly customer service by the front desk person was well beyond 5 stars. She was cheerful and helpful. Very pleased with the overall visit.
What an interesting set up. You walk in and then your immediately directed to an iPad type system to register. The waiting area is small. The evaluation area to have vitals taken is even smaller! I waited for a while for the doctor and he barely examined me.I had papers regarding my release from the hospital but he never even looked at them but asked me all the information basically on the paper work. “ Just said do what the hospital said to do.” Was his response. He negated my current pain and needs. I could have stayed home. The technician that took my vitals is the reason I am giving this place 2 stars. Yes he was attentive, patient, and helpful. I am not going back. MedExpress will be my option if needed.
At this particular visit I was very happy with the information the doctor gave me. He had been a neurosurgeon for 9 years and explained my back pain was muscular and would heal in time. Gave me meds and asked that I return in 3 days if my condition worsened. Left the office feeling assured would recommend to friends and family.
My experience with U.N.I. On October 6th 2021 Was amazing. I am not overstating that. The receptionist was very professional, patient and well composed on the phone with me and in person amid the rush of people and questions. The nurse who took me back was also professional, personable and informative. The Dr was also very courteous and on time. I would recommend U.N.I. To anyone needing quick care and attention. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
After my last visit on May 4th, I will not be coming back nor will I ever bring my children back to this place. The receptionists and the patient care tech were amazing. Most of the doctors at this location are good and very knowledgeable of medical problems. I was seen twice this week by them and the only good experience was when I first came.
This place is horrible. The website allows you to make an appointment. You get reminders to be there 10 minutes before your appointment time, and if you dont your appointment time will not be honored. Arrive at the Urgent Care before the appointment time to a packed lobby with individuals indicating they had been there 2 hours. One patient said good luck to me when I walked through the door. Went to the check in window and am now notified the website is not accurate and they dont make appointments and you have to wait behind the others. If I could get a negative star review, I would.
I had some flu-like symptoms. I walked in, grabbed a mask, and was called in very quickly. They did a thorough checking of my symptoms, endured my attempts at humor, and gave me excellent treatment as well as some (well deserved) warnings about staying properly hydrated. They even gave me documentation to take to my workplace for the time off I would need. I felt better quickly after being treated here.
The check in process could be done better when the lines are long and outside the building. Everyone needed to check in on a device rather than speaking with a person. They could have had one check in on the device and another person checking in with a person to make the line go faster. I received a text with one time they would see me and received an email with a different time. The staff was very friendly and was a great help. They were very helpful and explained the COVID testing and results. I was however surprised that there was NO hand sanitizer or wipes to clean the check in device after someone used it.
I really appreciated how quickly I was helped, both at the front desk and back in the care area, during my visit to U.N.I. Urgent Care this weekend. I got medication that helped me feel a lot better by the next day. This was my first visit and I won’t hesitate to visit again if I need after hours medical care.
Went in for a covid test, no symptoms. Waited 30 minutes in the front and was understanding, thinking they were trying to just keep people going in at a certain pace. The girl took me back and swabbed me, which was quick and she was very nice. Was told a doctor would be in to see me after that. 45 minutes later, I hear the doc in the next room with a patient that arrived after me, and he finished up with her rather quickly. I finally opened the door to see if I could find someone, but no one was around. Straight up forgot I was in there! It should be first come first serve!
I have been going to UNI Urgent Care for the past 5 years. This is a wonderful family and the business is run so well. Every room is immaculately clean, the staff are all so mannerly and welcoming and the Doctors are literally the BEST. I feel like I am family when I have to go- always treated with warmth and efficiency. I cant tell you what a relief it is to know that when my family or I feel sick, UNI is always there and treatment is quick and guaranteed. They even offer tele-medicine treatment which was smooth and excellent. Say bye bye to unclean and office-like clinics, UNI provides wonderful care and lives up to its name! Thank you for continuing to care for my family and I, UNI Team!
After a week of mishaps and delays with my primary care physician. I went to UNI for a pre-op examination required for me to receive anesthesia. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. The office was well equipped and they got me in and out quickly. Within 48hrs all my preop paperwork was submitted and received. UNI Hagerstown on Robinwood Dr. By Highs, is awesome and I highly recommend them.
The front desk staff is very nice. My only concern is that I was told I could have had a blood clot in my lung. I went to the hospital as advised and was determined I didnt have any blood clot. Wish the doctor at urgent care would have slowed down and took her time with me.
Total scam. They let you schedule an appointment for a visit and then tell you theres a 2 hour wait because walk-ins have priority over appointments. I wouldnt have waited for an appointment time if I had no remote chance of being seen within at least an hour of my visit. Terrible business practice.
Jessica is a literal angel sent from Heaven to be a doctor. I think her full name was Jessica Lloyd. She literally put in more time and effort than any doctor I’ve ever had to make sure I was given the proper tests. Places like this always have a long wait time so make sure you’re at least waiting for a good doctor. Looking forward to making her my primary care physician!
I went in for a rapid covid test and was very well treated. Check in was simple and all the staff members whom I interacted with were kind. I recommend U.N.I urgent care and will return whenever I have a medical need. Thank you for the great care and all the best for the staff during this challenging time.
We were out of town and had a sick kid, the staff was amazing and took great care of him. They were incredibly efficient, I have never been in and out with an answer from any urgent care I have ever been to! Thank you all for your kindness for a scared little boy! He says everyone should be like you all!
Took my daughter for an emergency visit on Easter day to be seen for an abscess tooth, her face was completely swollen and she was in a lot of pain. She asked for some antibiotics until she could get to a dentist, the Dr (Jones) was very rude and talked down to her. The receptionist and intake nurse was nice, but this Dr Jones, had bad bedside manners and an unprofessional attitude, perhaps she was having a bad day, Im not sure, but we wont be going back to that one!
I normally love going to UNI. but this time was awful. The registration lady was very unprofessional she had no idea what she was doing. Then when we finally went back to a room the NP that was on told me she had no idea why I would bring my daughter in there just for a cough. She was tested for covid and it showed positive for the rapid test. We went and had a send off test done and it came back negative. This whole experience was awful from the very beginning. I dont know what has changed but it definitely wasnt for the better.
Went to this Urgent Care last night with my 80 year old father who needed stitches. With his heart condition and blood thinners we were extremely concerned. Everyone there was extremely friendly and professional. I would recommend this facility to everyone. Thank you ladies, you were so very kind and compassionate.
Very Fast paced, we usually do not have to wait to be seen long at all ,I have taken both my children here few times and the staff/nurses have always been very attentive and caring. My 4yr. old hit and cut her head and they calmly talked her out of her nervousness she sat still and let them do their job, my son had stiches on eyebrow the doctor who did it knew what he was doing was amazing and he has barely a scar where the stiches were can barely tell! This is my go to place when unable to be seen at regular doctors office
This place is a joke you try to sign in theres no book out you stand and wait for the book to be ignored so you sit down and wait for the book to still be ignored get better people to work in this office
Went to get a Covid test and lined up with others who were also waiting for them to open. I was 5th and there were approximately 15 people in the line. Once they opened, we were let into a very small vestibule, and a small, jaggedly shaped waiting room. People in the waiting room were packed in - we were wearing masks but just a foot or so around everyone else. Those in the vestibule made it difficult to leave. Some signs on the wall were misleading or downright wrong - example: If you have NO symptoms, sign in using the kisok . Not sure of exact words. But, I HAD symptoms so.... what was I do? I squeezed through to ask the receptionist (who was incredibly nice) and she said to ignore the sign. What ???? The kiosk sign-in was very user UNfriendly. The lady behind me had been there a few times before and very kindly coached each person in how to sign in. Shouldnt that have been the staffs job? Once her name was called, the help disappeared and people had to fend for themselves. Even the screen we were typing into was too large for the frames opening making it super hard to see your choices and stick your fingernail under the kiosk frame to make selections. I got called in after a short while and placed in a very large examination room. I was given the test and then told to wait there. After 30 minutes, I stepped out into the hall to see if I could get a status - I didnt even know what I was waiting for - and I had some questions. A nurse practitioner was working on a hall computer and told me sternly to go back into the room. I asked how long she thought it would be (nicely) and she was very defensive, telling me she was just dealing with the car accident person. She came into my room shortly afterwards, handed me a set of papers and I left. I interfaced w/ 3 staff members and 2 were fine in terms of behavior. If someone had explained to me what to expect, it would have been much easier. I did like it that I was able to speak to someone live when I called in a few times. But they are a health center and were packing those that may have been contagious in with others in a very risky way.
Have been treated here several times for bronchitis and most recently the flu. My family and I have always received very good care. All the staff seem well trained and are very polite. Never a long wait, if any. Would definitely recommend.
I can’t say how professional and great this facility was. My 4 year old son busted open his eyebrow going down a water slide. It was unfortunately 7 pm at night and most places closed by 8. I went to 2 different places both of which steered me to the ER (I feel most likely because i was walking in 30 mins prior to their posted closing hours). When I contacted UNI and told them I would be there about 20 minutes prior to them closing, they reassured me that they would get my little guy taken care of. They walked out after seeing him at 10 pm. Dr. Roelkey was super good with him and talked directly to my son about what he was doing. He put him at ease and made everything very easy for him. Every staff member was pleasant (even though they were leaving an hour and a half after their posted closing). Highly recommended!
Took my daughter in today just for an ear infection! Us and 3 other mother’s with children stood there for 25 minutes before the lady at the desk said Check in on the kiosk, that there is no sign telling you to! Covid is such an issue but yet we all touched that kiosk one after another and not one time was it wiped down or sprayed with disinfectant! The lady from the back taking patients to rooms came out and yelled for a group of people who was outside and when someone said “there outside” she said oh no I’m not doing this because I don’t have time for it. Than the front desk lady and nurse proceed to have a full conversation about the patients in the waiting area, talking to the point we could hear them! After doing the kiosks, you than get a text to complete registration, I got there at 9am, after doing registration it told me my appointment was at 11:30!This urgent care is VERY unsanitary and unorganized! The nurses are very disrespectful!
I was greatly disappointed in this urgent care. There where not very many people in the waiting room and I was told it would be long but I was there for almost 2 hours. I took my son in and the doctor on staff hardly looked at him. He even refused to try to properly look in the back of his throat because as the doctor said he is to young to open his mouth. My son has a history of throat infections and no other doctor has had any trouble looking at his throat. I feel like he did not do even half an exam. This place is a joke.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took excellent care of me! Nate, CRNP was very caring and knowledgeable. I love that he is very easy going person made me more relaxed instead of anxious. They are the best staff I have ever encountered in Healthcare!
Really dirty, and absolutely ZERO precaution taken for COVID-19. Waiting room is so small there’s no way to social distance. I stood up in a corner for almost 2 hours with my 4 year old daughter (I’m also 35 weeks very visibly pregnant) because there were sick coughing people coming to get COVID testing sitting on the chairs and couches and nobody was cleaning anything after sick patients got up. I was clearly irritated about the situation, and told the nurse I was uncomfortable and nervous about COVID and still nobody told me there was option to wait in the car, wich im only now learning after reading other reviews. Will not be going back here unless absolutely necessary. Which today it was… Honestly shocked at the lack of precaution and care for peoples well being in there. Staff was friendly… That’s the only positive thing I have to say.
Had been getting sick for a week, went to UNI urgent care, had to wait a while because they were busy, but the staff was very nice and the doctor I saw was great! She was aggressive in the treatment of my bronchitis, after a couple days, Im feeling so much better!
My only complaint is they have posted publicly they open at 8:00 when really they open at 8:30. I was VERY sick with COVID and had to stand in the cold until someone came out so I could sign the clip board, in line 20-30 min. Otherwise I got great treatment both times using this facility and it will for sure be the only Urgent Care locally I will ever use again.
Do NOT go to this Urgent Care. First of all, when I arrived, you check in on a little kiosk/tablet that has been in no way sanitized and everyone that comes in uses it to enter their info. They were busy when I arrived at 9, so I simply completed my registration and sat down. 3 hours later after witnessing people who walked in after me be seen, I approached the desk and asked if my registration had gone through and she handed me some forms to fill out. She said I have you in. I asked if my original check in was noted 3 hours ago and she refused to answer just saying I have you in now. When I got taken back, I specifically mentioned I thought I had a UTI bc of my symptoms. They tested my urine and the physician told me it was negative for an infection. Ok. 4... DAYS.... LATER they call me and say that I do in fact have a UTI and they dont know why I wasnt prescribed an antibiotic as there was clearly bacteria shown in the lab result. Ladies and gentlemen, I suffered for 4 days unnecessarily bc I was told I just had some non specific viral infection and to just take it easy. Lost time, lost work. Straight up negligence. Do not visit this site.
The wait time was reasonable (about 40 minutes) for a walk in visit. The health care staff were friendly, courteous and professional. I felt like I was in very good hands. I highly recommend.
I routinely take our children and myself there, but my husband really doesnt like to go to the doctor. He has been fighting some type of respiratory issue for a few weeks and finally gave in about going to the doctor. We went in, and he had such a great experience with the attending, Ashley. He was so impressed, he asked if she had a practice anywhere because he would definitely not mind going to the doctor then. Most doctors he has dealt with in the past dont really take the time to listen to his concerns but she took the time and was very thorough in checking out any possible issues before giving a diagnosis. I dont think he will be as hesitant to go to the doctor if he knows she will be taking care of him! Thanks Ashley!
If you can go somewhere else please do, I came in to get a rapid covid test and wasn’t seen for 3 almost 3 and a half hours later after arriving. The receptionist didn’t seem to know what she was doing either because every time I would ask when I was next in line she didn’t know and 2 people that got there before me were seen before I was. Altogether just very unorganized and even the doctors note was very vague and didn’t even include when I should return back to work. If you can just go to the meritus urgent care near the airport or the hospital down the street, you’ll get better care there. And that’s saying alot cause meritus hospital is one of the worst in maryland but atleast you’ll get seen faster there.
No one was there when we arrived so we walked right up to the counter. Although there was no greeting from behind the glass, we were promptly registered and waited only 5 minutes or so before being called back. The nurse and doctor on duty were empathetic and efficient!
What type of urgent care is this? There was no patient infront of us still we waited for more than one hour...bad experience. I tried to avoid half hour wait in my dr. Clinc and turned up waiting hour
I have ALWAYS loved this place. The staff, and owners have always been amazing.. However, there was a Dr. Selena there.. And she was not very helpful, I needed nausea meds and she refused to treat me. She told me to go to the ER.. I HAD TO CALL 911 and WAIT for an ambulance! The Dr and the girl at the front desk told me I have to sit outside and wait!! The EMTs were VERY upset and said they were going to report the whole incident. I also asked for my paper work (per the 911 operator) and the girl at the front desk REFUSED to give it.. told me they can pull it up if they need it.. ALSO they left other pts info sitting out for me and anyone else to see (Name, DOB, Social, address and phone number). I work in health care went to school and graduated in psychology.. I KNOW HIPPA and I KNOW none of this is allowed.. I dont know if shes still there BUT good luck and prayers to anyone who has to see her... Or is treated un fair
First time at UNI urgent for covid tests for my daughters & I for vacation to Hawaii.... I was very shocked and disappointed to find out at the airport that Hawaii govt does NOT accept covid tests from Quest Diagnostics Labs. WHY?!But the UNI staff in Hagerstown on Robinwood, that day was so great I had to review. First of all my daughter was SUPER nervous for the test but from the moment we walked in the clinic, the young lady at the front desk and then the nurse were so friendly and professional. Then the provider (PA) Daniel Lamont was so professional and patient with us. He was able to calm my daughter and even came back to check on us after the nurse finished the tests. It was a GREAT change from other urgent cares we have visited in the past. GREAT JOB, UNI staff...WE WILL BE BACK!!
Fast paced clinic, in and out ! I was sick and they made me feel better and reassured. From the PA Lamont, to Ciera at the desk, best experience at an urgent care I have had in long while.
Everyone was courtesy and efficient. They listened to my concerns about my chest congestion and after receiving a negative rapid test, I received the care I needed for healing. They also sent out a regular covid test just to be sure all bases were covered. All this happened under an hour.
I went in on a Sunday afternoon and was promptly assisted with professionalism. The health providers on duty were courteous, knowledgeable and moved me through the xray process as quickly as possible. Nice job to all! Thank you for providing such great care.
My husband and I went to U.N.I urgent care from the airport after we got sick on vacation. The staff were very professional and polite, office was very clean and the PA that saw us was very friendly, professional and took her time checking us and explaining everything. We wish we dont need to come back but if we ever need an urgent care they will be the place to go to.
My wife had been having muscle pain R side around the back of her shoulder blade, neck and into her chest, with the pain moving in that order. Triggered we thought by doing shoulder strengthening exercise. We knew what ER would be like if we walked and said anything about chest pain—goodbye next 8-10 hrs. Finally went to UNI Urgent Care, and were blessed to be seen by an ER specialist close to DC (and picking up additional hours in a totally different environment. After examining her, including triggering her pain with different positions of her uplifted arms, he concluded that he could categorically rule out a heart attack or heart issues.Instead she was dealing with a musculoskeletal problem, which she could address her pain by working with reputable physical therapists, massage, acupuncture, chiropractors, and similar disciplines. Since we knew individuals in the first two approaches, we would proceed with them.He was extremely attentive, caring, thorough. He offered to do an EKG if that would help her double check things with her re: her heart. We were relieved and secure in his differential diagnostic conclusions. He also took time to suggest specific pain management strategies, including continuing with careful exercise, until she could see a specialist. The front office staff were courteous, and my wife was seen by the doctor in a very short time.We could not be more satisfied and relieved!!Were most grateful to our Lord Jesus for the reassuring appointment, it turned out, with an ER specialist!!!🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely the worst urgent care to go to. My fiancé was there for over THREE HOURS for a strep and Covid. Waited an hour for the results that take 15 mins for them both to be negative and not have any answers for her or suggest and over the counter meds.
Unbelievably lacking in precautions against the Covid-19 pandemic.Very small waiting room was crammed full of people.. NO social distancing possible. One man, who was there to be tested for Covid, had his mask on covering only his mouth. There were no signs saying you could wait in your car and then be called in, but I later found out that it was an option.Another family came in to be tested for COVID and sat right next to me, so I had no where to move. When I saw the Nurse Practitioner and questioned her about a prescription she wrote for me which could possibly raise my blood pressure, she became irritated with me.The only good thing I can say is that the staff members at the front desk, and the triage nurse, were very pleasant and professional.
They had me covid tested, xrayed, splinted and ready to go with my papers in 2 hrs. Staff was nice, calm, and patient. The one who took my initial vitals and history is the same one who did my xrays and also placed a temporary cast like splint. She was like a one man show! They maintained professionalism despite being obviously tired after a long day.
DO NOT COME HERE, especially if you are pregnant. The doctors are not up-to-date on current medical knowledge and practices. The doctor we saw wanted to prescribe me Zofran, even though I’m more than 20 weeks pregnant and nausea wasn’t a primary symptom for me coming in in the first place. When I refused the prescription he wanted an answer as to why. I told him that the FDA no longer recommends Zofran for pregnant women as it poses serious risks to the baby (cleft palate, congenital cardiac malformations, and more). This is something my own OBGYN discussed with me when I was pregnant with our daughter two years ago and had severe morning sickness. That was two years ago, so clearly they are not staying up-to-date on basic care practices. When I refused the doctor made repeated comments about having prescribed it “for years and years.”There’s lots of things we use to do that we don’t do anymore because they weren’t good. Was not impressed with the staff, cleanliness of the facility, or wait time. Will NOT be back.UPDATE: Symptoms continued to worsen in the days following my visit to this minor emergency room, so I followed up with my PCP and it turns out I have a severe sinus infection. All of the symptoms I presented to the doctor at this establishment went entirely ignored and I was sent home with instructions to “drink Gatorade” and “have some soup.” Clearly they either only want your money, are very much out of practice, or both. The doctor definitely did not listen. This only reinforces that we will NOT be back.
I have never been here and will never return. Disgusting place, feel sorry for the people who work there. As someone else mentioned you need to sign in on a tablet kiosk that has no sanitation. But, I never made it that far. Waiting room packed like sardines. Waited and waited for the guy in front of me to try and figure out the kiosk. Then, some women, with no less than 5 kids and who was sitting on a couch that was turned backwards with a sign clearly marked do not touch, jumped up and started checking in. Fine she was there before me. Wrong, she proceeds to talk to people across the waiting room who had pulled into the parking lot as I was entering the into the office. Meanwhile, I am there to try and get a Covid test because I was exposed and have been having low-grade symptoms. I just ended up walking out because at that point I could either be exposing people or being exposed in that grimey sardine can.
So, no experience...YET...Im going to go here in the morning ,as I have just moved to the area and my insurance has changed, all my old Drs are 2&1/2 hours away and Im out if my meds since the holidays everyone was closed and I couldnt get in anywhere before I ran out.Im praying to God that all these negative reviews are over exaggerated...we will see..going in with a positive attitude and faith. Ill review whem Im back home.
Very bad service today. Doctor walks in asked my son his symptoms. Didn’t listen to heart or the sound of his lungs, no X-ray either, she said sounds like bronchitis. That’s it gave him scripts and said if your not any better in 10 days come back.. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. Today is Sunday the first of Dec. about 12:30 he was seen by a female doctor.. I would never go here if you have choice and I can tell you I will never return.
Provider was very nice, listened to what I was concerned about. He took the time to actually LOOK AT MY PROBLEM(a severe case of poison) and provided me with what I needed. I was in and out pretty quickly. The medication did the trick; it healed fast!
I have gone there a few times over the past few years for myself and my children. The receptionist and nurses are friendly and knowledgeable. Some doctors are more detailed than others but they are all very thorough.
I have never had such terrible service from a Dr. in my life. The Dr I saw was Sheila Rhodes. She talked over me constantly and didnt listen to a single thing I said to her. I had explained why I was there at least 3 times because she was so rude and would constantly interrupt me in the end she did not help me at all and I walked out. Whats sad is the other Drs I have seen there were great and had amazing attitudes and really listened to you. SHEILA RHODES WAS A HORRIBLE DR. TO ME AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER ONE BIT.
Pros - Ive been to this UNI Urgent care several times since moving to Hagerstown. They are cordial, kind and attentive. Recently I was seen for an injury to my foot from a fall. It felt like a sprain and was already starting to swell and bruise when I was seen. The assistant who took my vitals could see I was having problems walking and retrieved a wheel chair to assist me. After the exam they did an xray and didnt see a noticeable break but mentioned it could be a hairline and they would wait until the report from the xray lab came back the next day. All this was how I expect to be treated at an urgent care. They were knowledgeable, helpful, explained my treatment and asked me if I had any questions.Con - The doctor mentioned they were out of any form of splint/ace bandages to help support the injury to my foot. I was told to try a pharmacy. Unfortunately, the pharmacys foot brace and ace bandage wasnt at the front of the store but at the back near the pharmacy.Recently when taking a family member there for chest pain the EKG machine wasnt working.
Literally worst urgent care Ive ever been to. No wait times. No updates. And since we are worried about covid maybe they shouldnt have a waiting room that looks like a concert hall. Came for a rapid test and waited for over 3 hours.
I have been here twice - once a couple years ago for a cough that I had had for several weeks and then a few days ago for severe flank pain. I was happy with my first experience. They at least did an xray and ruled out pneumonia so I was put on antibiotics (which I dont usually like to take, but I was desperate by then). Eventually, the cough did go away. This time when I went, it was for severe left flank pain. I was concerned it could be kidney related. The staff was friendly and I had virtually no wait. I was diagnosed with a UTI based on doing a dipstick. I wasnt too convinced because I had none of the typical symptoms of a UTI. I gave it 24 hours and few doses of the antibiotic, then went to the ER where they did blood work and a CT scan. Turns out, I have a kidney stone. Im thoroughly disappointed that the PA I saw at U.N.I. said it was definitely not a kidney stone and did no testing to rule it out. I dont think I will go here again.
People are nice. But they make you do ALL registration paperwork EVERY time you go in there! They ask the question if they are a new or existing patient. And even if you say existing, they still make you do 25 pages or so of info, a lot of which is redundant from page to page! There is no question asking if your insurance info has changed, like they have in every other medical facility in the free world. The system stinks and makes you waste a LOT of time.
Went to Urgent Care on Monday. It was the best experience. The entire staff is so very nice. It was better than going to my Primary Care. I would recommend this office to anyone. Mark was extremely caring.
THE WORSE EVER. TOLD US THEY SENT IN MEDICATION. WE SAT IN THE PARKING LOT AT MARTINS AND IT WAS NEVER CALLED IN. CALLED BACK TO UNI AND NO ONE ANSWERED. DIDNT GET MY MEDS............ THEN I TALKED TO A SUPERVISOR THE NEXT DAY AFTER BEING TREATED RUDELY BY NUMEROUS COUNTER PEOPLE GIVING ME A RUNAROUND AND NOT WANTING TO PUT ME IN CONTACT WITH A SUPERVISOR. I FINALLY AFTER 6 PHONE CALLS TALKED TO ABBY WHO TOLD ME SHE WAS UPSET BY THE WAY THINGS WERE HANDLED AND SHE WOULD BE TRAINING THE EMPLOYEES NOT TO TREAT PATIENTS LIKE THAT AGAIN. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT SHE WOULD GET MY MEDICINE STRAIGHTENED OUT AND MAKE SURE I GOT IT TODAY. SHE CALLE ME BACK A LITTLE LATER AND TOLD ME THE MEDICINE WAS CALLED INTO THE PHARMACY I USUALLY USE FOR ME TO PICK UP AND THEY WOULD BE THERE UNTIL 7 PM. MY HUSBAND GOT DONE WORK AT 6:00 AND WENT TO THE PHARMACY, ONLY TO FIND THEM CLOSED. NOW IM REALLY UPSET........... THIS WAS RIDICULOUS.......... SO HE CAME BACK HOME AND I HAD TO CALL THE UNI AND GET THEM TO SEND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE....................... NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!! IM REALLY SICK AND NEEDED THE MEDS........... THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...........
Very sick child. Due to Holidays they have special hours. Doesn’t matter. They make their own hours and will turn away sick people at their convenience. Sign on door stated they were open until 6:30 pm for special holiday hours. Arrived at 6:10 pm. Doors were locked and they stated “our manager said to lock doors at 6”. Do not go here, they care nothing for your healthcare needs.
The staff and medical assistant were amazing and it was extremely clean, but the doctor “Dr. G” did not practice medicine in an appropriate way. I came in for a Covid test (based on 4 separate symptoms-trust me, I’m not feeling well) and I was negative, but he DID NOT check for anything else. He didn’t check my throat, my eyes, or barely anything else. He ONLY checked my breathing in two places and didn’t ask me me conduct deep breathes, and then, he basically let me go saying we’ll wait for PCR test results for COVID. How does he know I don’t have bronchitis or strep throat. This is very sad. I’m now going back to somewhere else tomorrow afternoon since my cough is only getting worse. SMH
Was there yesterday with my 7 month old baby and dr is about a dumb as a box of rocks. How you gonna say its nothing but it turned out to be a fever, ear infection and a deep cough that needed medical attention.?? I will NEVER EVER bring my baby to you guys again. Dr acted like she didnt wanna touch either of us. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
I went there 2 days ago due to a rash in my head and was told by the doctor that I had shingles. I’m only 34 so I was pretty surprised by that but I talked to a few people and found out that’s not that rare. Once I was home I realized that this doesn’t seem like shingles. It spread all over my head on both sides and upon researching I found that this is most likely ringworm of the scalp. I got to thinking and realized I was around a dog with a severe skin problem about a month ago so I called back today 2/02/21 @ 5:00pm and the receptionist was extremely rude. I was very polite and told her what was going on and was waiting for her opinion and very short tempered said “well u can come back and see someone else, but that’s all I can tell you!” And did this laugh after saying that as to say I’m most likely wrong and the doctor was right. Atleast that’s what I took from it. I won’t be going back
They were very compassionate and directly involved they were open when no one else was even open not even the emergency room for getting my daughter checked for covid which she was positive!!! So thank you crew... but because of this it took about an almost hour per person... thank you it could of been the difference for my daughter... knowing that I went back and was checked my self not positive... great work people
I had went to another urgent care waited for an hour and half so I left there and came to this urgent care and it took them maybe 15 minutes to get me in the back and to be seen by the doctor. Great staff. I love this place!
Place opens at 830amWent in for a physical for my breast augmentation. Paid 250 (cash price) staff was amazing. Really nice. In and out quickly!
This is one of the worst urgent cares I have ever been to in my entire life I will never go here again. I have a Infected tooth that is swelling my rightside of face up my eye is closing shut. The women Dr. Was not only rude but did not want to help me at all. She didnt wanna give me a antibiotic shot. Even tho she should have so it doesnt go to my brain. And she she didnt want to give me a shot of numbing for my face. I will never go back here I felt like I was not important enough. I felt like the Dr. Didnt care cuz today is Easter. And she had to work. Im in 😢
Long crowded waiting rooms and long wait times every time I’ve tried to come. I even reserved an appointment on my phone today for a PCR test and still waited forever. I ended up leaving and going to CVS. I will not be going back to any UNI urgent cares in the future.
Husband went there tonight signed paper to say he was there and then went and sat in car as instructed. After 45mins went to check on wait. Front desk staff lost the paper he signed in on and made him sign in AGAIN putting him further down on the list. That is ridiculous and poor organization. For someone who is in pain and is waiting, it is uncalled for to have to be bumped to the bottom of the list because the front office staff lacks organization.
Went in today because I was feeling weak and faint, plus had red blotches followed by flushing and paleness. The nurses were very helpful, one was a family friend so she was unable to help me with my issues due to HIPPA laws. The doctor assumed I knew nothing about healthy eating habits and working out, although I have a degree in the fitness and nutrition field, then tried to send me on my way with no blood tests or anything. One of the nurses came back in and insisted he test all of my blood levels as well as a urine test after listening to my symptoms that occur on a regular basis. I will never go to this Urgent Care facility again, such a quack.
I have now gone here 3 times 4 3 different ailments...& being in the Healthcare field myself, I can admit. I am not the best patient..lol. I get nervous..very nervous when I have to see a doc 4 myself..but each time I have been its been a short wait and the doc had great bedside manner &:addressed each ailment very professionally. Staff was great..very compassionate & attentive..I was seen for asthma excaberation,...MRSA abcess, & pink eye..mind u the MRSA had to be opened & drained, so that visit I was kind of panicking, but none the less they were able to calm my anxiety enough that we were able to complete it instead of me having to go to the hospital..thx again UNI 4 saving me from the ER...Im grateful.
It’s ok. Defiantly better urgent cares out there. You could wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours some days. You’ll never know. Everyone here is very friendly and kind. I’ve been Misdiagnosed before. Most times they only prescribe saline spray which is useless.
They were very busy, but i had hardly no wait. The doctor was great, listened to my concerns, took xrays, wrote my prescription for antibiotic and i was out the door in less than an hour. Fantastic.
If I could give a 0 I would. Place is terrible. The doctor didn’t know what he was talking about. Didn’t even know how to speak professionally. Took my son to his primary care doctor the next day and told them what this doctor said and they took all of his info to report him because of what he diagnosed my son with from what he actually had. Never again.
The front desk and staff were very kind. Doctor took his time. I feel like my wait time was to long for it being a busy monday. Everything was clean and comfortable.
The man at the desk was very nice and kept everyone updated on the wait time. The doctor I had was also nice and was empathetic toward patients.
Through no fault of your doing and considering the amount of people there to get Covid tested a good job was done. You may want to get a couple more of the checkin kiosks. This way patients can register but quicker.Staff was helpful and doing the best they could. My husband and I were there for Covid testing on Christmas Eve.
Something that should NEVER happen between a Medical professional and a patient:Fresh out of a very painful ER visit and after being neglected and passed around trying to get simple test results my phone conversation went like this:Her: Thank you for calling UNI this is Stephanie.Me: Hi, Stephanie, how are you today? Her: Its (Stessani???) With an SMe: (explained that Im just trying to get my test results)Her: I need name, DOB, etc (third time Ive had to give it)Me: (under my breath) Jesus Christ...Her: I cant help if youre going to cussMe:. I didnt...Her: You said JC and If you want your results you cant be taking his name in vein. You have NO business in the medical field if youre going to be a religious fanatic that threatens to withhold a patients test results unless they bend the knee to your own personal religious subscription.I am disgusted, appalled, WILL be filing a formal complaint and WILL be contacting an attorney. If you arent Christian, brace yourself for possible malpractice.
The wait was a bit long that day but the doctor and the nurses were very good, professional and attentive. I would go to this doctor as a PCP if I could. I really liked him.
Good customer service. I appreciate the above and beyond but we were only there for a rapid covid test and she was worked up as a full doctor check up. Considering there are drive thru testing sites I just felt like we should have not been there for over an our for a 15 min test.
3 1/2 hour wait to get an X-ray of my dislocated knee. I know a portion of that time was waiting for offsite radiologist to report on findings, but the doc didn’t seem to know much about joint injuries and didn’t wrap my knee tightly enough. Should have just waited to get into see an orthopedist. Not likely to go to this urgent care again.
This is the best place to go when you can’t get to the Dr.s. There a lot of urgent cares around and ive gotten up and left them, to go here. They are always really nice and you feel like they care. They are pretty fast at getting you in and out.
UNI on North Pointe Dr Front desk person unpleasant. Would not allow me to go back with my 85 year old father. We were the only people in facility- perhaps word has gotten out not to go there.
Everybody was very nice. But the doctor just assumed i had something that i had had previously without actually looking at my wrist. I said dont you want to look at it and he then looked for maybe 30 seconds amd then sent me on my way.1
Dr.Appollan, affectionately known as Dr. A, saved my husbands life. He was dehydrated and his kidneys were shutting down. Rather than risk the transfer to the hospital, Dr.A stayed right beside my husband until I was able to take my husband home. Forever grateful!I have had a reoccurring eye infection. Dr. Appollan always takes care of me when my primary Dr. has no time to put me into her busy schedule.
Very nice experience, friendly competent people. Surrounding could be a bit spruced up, better lighting. I was surprised to see several overhead bulbs missing, the procedure I had needed to have bright light.
Staff are friendly just wish I didnt have to wait over an hour for an x ray to be taken . They need to have another Dr on the shift. I avoided to hospital cause I didnt want to wait for hours on end for an xray when quite frankly that seems to be the better option.
The doctor was very hands on. She took care of every single one of my needs. Dr. Jessica Lloyd was AMAZING with helping me with my problem. I recommend her for every need.
The front desk receptionist was very calm and very polite. When I arrived their systems were down and he handled it very well. Once the system was back up the staff were very friendly and quick.
I had an amazing experience coming here! I was seen by Jess the nurse practitioner and the nurse was just as nice! Not sure why the ratings are so bad because i have no complaints!
Well tonight we had to come to this urgent care. My wifes ID has recently expired. Its winter bills are hire we have oil heat. We havent had the money to get her a new ID we have four children that are more important to have heat through the winter then worry about an expired ID. First the receptionist tried saying that they cannot take her with an expired ID. Why it just expired literally 6 days ago. Shes a real person with a social security number. So after that shenanigans they let her be seen. We go back and the worst part you can hear everything between the walls talk about no confidentiality. Where is the hippa law here ? If you are trying to be seen for something wether its just a cold or flu or something personal do not go to this place as there is no privacy and they are rude when you have an expired ID.
I received excellent care from the time I walked in. patient, courteous and compassionate. The attending nurse practitioner was very great and answered all my questions.
Other than a very long wait time (Saturday morning- to be expected) the experience was fine. Dr and nurse were courteous and helpful.
My husband was seen for a serious lower leg injury. His pain level was a 10 & there was an open wound, swelling & brusing on his leg. He was given an x-ray, then the doctor came in for less then a minute DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT OR CLEAN HIS LEG! He felt as if he was being treated like a drug seeker just wanting pain meds. They did nothing to help him other then tell him his x-ray was neagative for a fracture.
I have been going here since they opened their doors. They treat my entire family and I have never been disappointed. They treat you like family and with all of my many chronic problems I feel totally secure with the treatment and diagnosis that I receive in their care.
I had some significant pain behind my knee barely could walk and I went in , the Doctor was maybe 22, wow but she was very nice, not trying to insult but come one, she was like , ummmmm ok,,,, ok whatever. I mention a xray and she mention a ultrasound, that did sound better than a xray but she said, ok well do a xray... done xray, which the xray tech was great . so the doc comes back in the room i was in and she said, Nothing found so we are referring you to the orthopedics in Robinwood.WOOOOOOOOOOW what a waste of my time and money. No offering any pain killers, nothing wow i was like never again
Once the doctor got to my room, it was a very positive experience. He paid attention to me, listened to my description of the pain, and told me what to expect during the recovery.
Had to go here twice due to my PCP being full. Mark is an awesome guy. If he had his own practice I would have him as my PCP anyday.
Highly recommend U.N.I. Urgent Care. In and out less than 40 minutes. Excellent care and very professional. Thank you Dr. and staff!
Insanely slow. My daughter has been waiting for an x-ray for over 2 hours. Still waiting. Just did vitals work up and stuck her in an exam room.
Very nice and clean place. The stuff is very friendly, kind and caring. The doctors are superb. My favorite urgent care in the area.
If I could give no stars I would. They refused to see someone who had a week old wound and made them go to the ER because it was caused by a gun. The GSW was already reported with evidence. Also, there was not one person in there being seen and I called them 5xs and they never answered.
Took my 3 year old daughter in last night around 5:30 the wait time was very quick..the triage nurse was nice but very stern I would of figured she would be a little more gentle especially taking care of a young child..they did a rapid Covid test and rapid strep test on my daughter it was a very quick process…the doctor was very very nice and helpful and didn’t hesitate to answer my questions!!…I will def go back if I absolutely have too!!…Happy Thanksgiving U.N.I urgent care
The service was very good, the front desk was so pleasant with us. The nurses were very good as well everyone did their part wonderfully I would recommend them all the time and I would go back next time for sure love them 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very unprofessional! I was waited on by a woman with purple hair. She was so rude to me. She left me waiting for over 20 minutes while she carried on personal activities on her cell phone. I will never use this clinic again.
Sit in room an hour as they discuss dogs and hunting with each other in next room. Waiting for an x ray that should have been done within the time you sat and learned about bears and lottery drawing to hunt them, who eats them and how much to do the meat. Yep. While you sit and wait on an x ray.
Yesterday was not put together. I know they were trying there best but the lady forgot to call my daughter and she said that she did and nope. Waited for 2 hrs. Awful. Usually good and they are fast but yesterday very bad
My whole experience with the u.n.i urgent care was very good the staff the doctors were very nice and helpful I was very pleased with the visit I had and would go there again if I had to and recommend it to any body very satisfied
I was so sick; seen very quickly; asked for and was given a rapid covid test which was negative; the staff suggested a urinalysis which was positive; dont like the antibiotic but seems to be working; appreciate UNIs help!
My experience was very good and the Dr. Was very experienced in what she was doing!. If I get sick again I will return to your office!. Thank you so much for your help!.
I have been taking my kids here now for 3 years, loved it... However today my mind was changed, front girl at desk (Alexandra) was god awful rude and hateful and the wait took over a hour and 30 mins... Only one other patient...
I came in with a broken thumb and everyone was very nice and respectful the only thing that I was bothered by was u guys didnt have ice and I really did need it I asked 2 different ppl ..I guess u ran out but other than that great experience!!!
Took grandson at last min for bad cough/asthma flare, was seen within 5 min, treated right away. Will be returning if ever needed.
Excellent medical facility. Check in was a little confusing, but im not very computer savvy. Kind, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Short wait time. Excellent doctor.
Dr. David Roelkey M.D. and staff were excellent, kind, through and efficient:D
I recently arrived at UNI bleeding needing stitches the girl refused to take me because I couldnt find my medical card but had all the information from the app on my phone
Everyone was lovely, and the process in general was quick. Youll be in great hands if you ever need to make an unexpected visit to U.N.I. Urgent Care.
For some reason they have a website that tells you register here to save your place in line you dont have to wait you can save your place in line and continue when you get there except for that its all a complete lie and as soon as you get there you still have to fill out everything all over again and wait in line all over again so dont bother filling out their stuff online beforehand because they dont actually keep it or do anything with it.
Everyone there was very nice to me except the doctor. He was a miserable old man that acted like he really did not want to be there. He is the only reason I wont go back.
The doctor acted like she was scared to come near me and touch me! I’ve never seen a doctor act like that before! I would never wanna see her again!
I love this place never a long wait, staff are very friendly especially Alexandra (front desk), she was very helpful with all of my questions, and took her time with myself and my children. I have been going here for years, I will continue to come here to be seen when needed, I will go to both locations because of how well my family and I are treated
Everyone were nice but waited 2hrs to see the doctor. It didn’t feel like an urgent care.
Staff is very friendly and waiting time was very short. I think I was seen and released within an hour. A bit faster or about the same as a doctors appointment
I went for a college physical was there for 3 hours mind you I was the only patient in the building the doctor then sent me to CVS to get a shot that I didn’t need until I’m 19 CVS told me I can’t have it until I’m 19 the doctor then admitted he made a mistake and had me drive all the way back to get the paper that I was sopose to get the first time I was there on top of that I sat in the waiting room for another 20 mins waiting to the paper awful survive
Staff very friendly and willing to help. Attending physician was excellent and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
Receptionist was professional and put you at ease. Nurses were helpful. Doctor Abraham was a true professional.
Nice set of people. They get you checked in promptly. The wait seemed reasonable the care seemed very good
Very organized process, staff professional, I REALLY like how you scheduled an appointment to be seen rather than sitting there, wondering when youll be called. I even got called early!
I would recommend UNI to anyone. Everyone there is very professional and caring. I am very grateful to Mark Roncone for diagnosing me also get me on the road to recovery.
Quick, courteous, organized, and efficient. U.N.I Urgent care is my preferred option when my PCP is not available.
I had an excellent experience with my 4-year-old. Dr. Roncone was awesome 👍 with my grandchild.
The front desk and nursing staff were friendly and wonderful. The doctor was condescending and a bit rude.
By far the nicest care team Ive endured . They make you feel heard and cared for, as well as making It a convenient trip through these hard times . Thank you
Today when we walked in it was very nice and I waited for my doctor to come out and she took me back and checked me a few things then sent us to another room she was in there for 5 minutes said another doctor should walk in in about 5-10 minutes but 45 minutes later another doctor walks in does one thing says he will be a few and walked out an hour later he comes in with paper work if you are really sick I suggest you dont come here bc they wont try and be fast so you can leave they take there time so
Rude, and left my baby bleeding out his head for 5 hours while u turn us away. Even hospital said u had the glue and could have helped him
I went to U.N.I. on January. I didnt have to wait very long at all. Approximately about an hour I was in there. The staff was very friendly and nice.
Worst.... closed at 8.15 advertise 8.30, me and my wife kept banging the door to noavail. You must keep open till the advertised hours . Their should be legal action against deceptive advertising of such practises.
Weve used this place a couple times, and its been great. The wait is a *lot* less than Meritus, and the staff are so much better as well.
First time there... Everyone was extremely nice and helpful... They were very busy, but they took care of Everyone in a timely fashion, and professional manner..I would highly recommend..Thank you.
Everyone was pleasant and the doctor was very friendly and fast once I got in the back
Very professional and compassionate care given. Nice receptionSeen in a timely manner
Overall pleased with service, but had to wait in the exam room a long time before the NP finally arrived.
Please be careful about going to this Urgent Care, they truly can only handle minor issues!!! Very reckless urgent care!
Way faster care than MedExpress on Dual Highway. No complaints about the care my daughter got
Was in and out for an abscess tooth. Which was greatly appreciated since all I needed was antibiotics and I felt like dirt
Went in with migraine n/v. Was seen right away. Cant thank them enough with how quick and efficient they were. Thank you..
They were efficient but friendly, explained things thoroughly and treated me like a person.
Great experience, wonderful staff and physician, and not a long wait.
Wouldnt recommend this place . Doctor dont seem to care for patients and misdiagnosed my child. Probably because only spend like 2 mins with her and we were there for 2 hours
If I could give a zero I would. Went in for a rapid Covid test took almost 2 hours. Never again.
I was seen for rash on upper rt arm due to insect bite. Everyone was very kind and professional and would go back if I needed to in future.
Everyone was kind and very helpful. I was in and out quickly so I could continue with resolving my health issue. Thank you
If I could give a zero I would. Worst wait of my life for just a cotton swab in my nose that I can literally do myself.
Well visit again if something urgent happens, everything was well explained to me what was going on, and the staff was friendly.
The staff and providers are great, especially Daniel Lamont. he is very professional and genuine.
Polite, well organized. The layout is good and clean, I was seen to quickly. Thank you
This place charged me $115, didnt see me, and still hasnt refunded me yet. Steer clear of this place, heed the pathetic overall rating
Was refused service after I had signed in. Had to go to a different urgent care. Will never go there again.
They are quick and the doctor was amazing. Highly recommend if you need care.
Omg are you kidding me?! This place is the WORST, they need to be closed down... They ask you a bunch of questions only to be told the doctor cant help you go to the ER. So rude!!!!
The only problem here, us I waited so long. 2 hours. Otherwise everything was great!
