Planned Parenthood - El Paso Health Center

DO NOT GO HERE!! Read the reviews they are already bad! I have been in planned parenthood in AZ and NM , first time going to this clinic in TX. The only reason why I go it is to support planned parenthood. I have insurance and I didn’t put in online when I did my appointment, right away when I arrive, I was polite and said hello, my name and time of appointment. The lady in the front desk who claim to be Jazmin said to me that I was not in that insurance card (I never had this issue before) I said to double check but she didn’t took the insurance card right away. So idk where did she had the number from so call my husband and at the same time she said that there’s methods of payments, I said I don’t need and proceed telling my husband to check the insurance and to send me a screenshot of dependents he did and I show it to her. She start giving me attitude and I politely said why is she doing that. She said it was me since I arrive right away I was giving her attitude, I told her I never approach her with and words, I was t screaming and I was having a conversation like an adult. She said “we refused services to you” I just went there to support PP I can get services anywhere I want. Also I ask for them to read my insurance out loud to see if she type it right another girl said they can’t do that. Very weird clinic really, the other 2 people that came out where just staring at us instead of trying to help the situation. For me the saddest thing is that someone like that help people that actually need their services and their prices. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Texas tech has really good prices and services. (If the director is reading this please check the cameras, that girl might be tired but it is not okay to treat costumers like that). I’ll for sure will file a complain to PPGT.

I have had many bad experiences at gynecologist but Planned Parenthood made me feel so comfortable and safe during my visit. Everything was quick and easy with no issues. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing this type of healthcare! 10/10

Came here for my annual wellness exam. I honestly did not think of Planned Parenthood at first because, over the years, my insurance has covered me at private practices and I never thought to go anywhere else. However, I am mid-move and between providers. Also, lately I have been wanting to support businesses and causes I believe in with my wallet, so figured “why not”.Not gonna lie, very first thing that impressed me was their amazing online scheduling system. So convenient and easy. Wide open availability, DIY scheduling and rescheduling. They also have an online portal to view your lab results which I am looking forward to getting my access to.Once I got there, parking was easy, and the office was very clean. As someone who works in healthcare, I felt everything looked as it should and was well maintained, sanitary, and in order.The best part was the staff. Receptionist was SO friendly. The medical assistant was very patient and kind. The provider was seriously the best. Annuals really are not that comfortable, but us women have to do them. I can honestly say that in my 20 years of getting them done all around the country, I’ve never felt more at ease. Certainly a way better experience than with the private practices I’ve dealt with in EP.This office’s attention to inclusivity, access, discretion, and creating a safe place for addressing reproductive needs was very apparent.I did not realize Planned Parenthood was full-service for all primary care gynecological needs. I will be using PP in the future, both to support them and because it was a great experience.Other reviewers are right that PP needs to be protected and supported. They are doing great work around the county.

I had a great experience at this location, the scheduling was easy and quick, no long waits, the medical assistant and the nurse were so helpful and friendly, I was so nervous going in but they made me feel safe and comfortable

Wow more then 2 and half hours for birth control with an appt everyone left after me was the only person in office at 12for lunch if you are looking to be quick planned parenthood takes hours for birth control.

This clinic is amazing. The nurse I saw was very professional and helpful! I also had a problem with billing and they fixed that for me. Miranda was very helpful to help me solve my billing issue. I really appreciate the support and care this clinic provided

I’ve been to this location several times for several different reasons. My last visit was to get an IUD implant (Paragard). About a year or two ago. At the time, I had no job, no source of income, no health insurance, and no money, they were still able to provide me with safe birth control. The staff was always patient, polite, respectful, and informative! Most of all though, I felt safe there. I will always recommend Plan Parenthood of Greater Texas. Thank you 🙏

I came here for UTI and yeast and left healed and with an IUD all covered! I was desperate in pain, and my ins wanted me to pay $80 to see a different provider. I felt terrible and on a whim decided to try PP, and I am amazed at the female health care provided! Planned Parenthood needs to be protected and supported everywhere.

What was supposed to be a quick 20-minute lab test turned into an hours long ordeal that resulted in me missing as many hours of work because (1) they couldn’t figure out how to draw blood from a healthy adult and (2) the offsite lab they sent to me was permanently closed. Absolutely ridiculous.

I waited more than a week for an appointment and received a call the day of informing me that my appointment was canceled due to the clinician not being available and I couldnt reschedule for another 2 weeks. No apologies, nothing done to try and make it right. Typical El Paso garbage customer service.

This is the first time ever that I being treated with so much respect dignity and kindness thank you so much for the beautiful program they gave me so many things and teach me and listen to me and gave me treatment they remove my IUD and all the pain is officially gone thank you so much for so much empathy the best Dr that I ever met before and the most gorgeous team ever

The office staff are very unprofessional. The prices without insurance are insane. I though PP was supposed to work with women but if you need basic services then this is not the place for you. The doctors/practitioners are great but the prices make it completely inaccessible

They were very welcoming made sure I was comfortable I went in for my nexplanon replacement they made sure my arm was completely numb before they even started they asked a couple times to make sure I couldnt they asked my pronouns at the counter and asked if the name I go by was right they were very caring and better than my last OBGYN and I will go back

I could not speak higher of the staff that helped me they were all very nice, attentive and made me feel comfortable. They explained everything thoroughly and you can tell they are genuine people that care about the service they are providing. Would not hesitate to go back if needed.
